Returns & Refunds

We operate a 14-day return policy, meaning you have 14 days from receipt of your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • be in perfect condition,
  • be unused and undamaged,
  • be adequately protected for transit (ideally in its original packaging or equivalent),
  • be accompanied by proof of purchase (order number, confirmation email, etc.).

Before sending any return, please contact us at: contact@arthurarthur.fr.

In your message, please include:

  • your order number,
  • a photograph of the item (and, where relevant, of the packaging),
  • a brief explanation of the reason for the return.

We will then provide instructions and the return address:

Returns sent without a prior email request cannot be accepted.

Unless the item is faulty or the return is due to our error, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

In the event of a confirmed defect or a fulfilment error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs (either by reimbursing the postage or by providing a return label, depending on the situation).

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt.

If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at contact@arthurarthur.fr, attaching:

  • your order number,
  • one or more photographs of the item,
  • photographs of the packaging if relevant,
  • a brief description of the issue.

This allows us to assess the situation promptly and offer an appropriate resolution (replacement, repair, refund, etc.).

Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Given the handcrafted nature of our pieces, certain categories are not eligible for return, including:

  • personalised or made-to-order items,
  • special orders explicitly indicated as non-returnable at the time of purchase.

Items must be returned in perfect condition.

An item returned broken, damaged, or unfit for resale will not be refunded, unless the damage occurred during return transit in packaging that met our guidelines — each case will be assessed individually and photographs will be required.

Where applicable, gift cards are non-refundable.

If you are unsure whether a specific item is eligible for return, please contact us before placing your order or sending a parcel.

Exchanges

Exchanges are possible subject to availability.

The simplest process is as follows:

Contact us at contact@arthurarthur.fr to confirm the return of the original item (with a photograph).

Return the item following our instructions.

Place a new order for the desired piece whenever you are ready.

If a direct exchange is possible (for example, the same model in a different finish), we will let you know in our reply.


14-Day Cooling-Off Period (European Union)

If goods are shipped within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt, without providing any reason.

The same return conditions apply:

  • item in perfect condition,
  • unused,
  • adequately protected for transit,
  • proof of purchase,
  • photograph of the item included in your return request.

Refunds

We will notify you once your return has been received and inspected, and will confirm by email whether the refund has been approved or declined.

If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within a maximum of 7 business days following return validation.

Please note that the time taken for the refund to appear may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

If more than 15 business days have passed since our refund confirmation and you have not yet seen it reflected in your account, please contact us at contact@arthurarthur.fr.
